I know many of you may have experienced corporate downsizing, job boredom, lack of personal fulfillment or possibly even financial loss. Others may have simply heard the latest buzz in connection with franchise investment returns. Regardless of your reasons for searching for that special opportunity in the franchise industry, many of you will turn to the internet- and of those, several of you will experience what countless clients have told us they felt about the myriad of franchise offerings they stumbled across while surfing the net.

Confusing because they didn’t know if what they were looking into
was really the right fit for them.

Overwhelming because of the sheer numbers of offerings to filter through;
each with their own criteria and each claiming to be the best investment.

Subjective because what was lacking in the investigation of these opportunities
was a neutral 3rd party to offer an objective overview of the Franchise Company’s offerings.

As the President of the FranConsultant Group, and previously an individual seeking answers from those confusing and overwhelming franchise offerings, I decided after spending considerable time conducting my own intense research on various franchise and business opportunities, along with spending considerable funds visiting each Franchise headquarters, there had to be a better, more time efficient method of reaching an educated decision; especially on something that would have such a profound effect on the future of myself and my family.

Discovering my experience was far from unique and realizing many others could also benefit from free "Franchise Consulting" services; I decided, with my extensive Sales, Marketing, and Business Management background, along with my personal hands-on education of the franchise industry, why not put all of my research to good use by providing a reference of industry statistics, helpful tips and relevant industry information thereby offering a better insight into the world of franchising. In my investigations, I discovered the key to operating a successful franchise depended greatly on the harmony between the franchisor and the franchisee. Each one having their own agenda; the characteristics of the franchisee, essential in meeting the specific requirements of the franchisor; the franchisor, ultimately possessing the necessary traits sought by the franchisee. If this delicate balance failed to come together the chances of success would be greatly at risk. Therefore, this key element became the foundation for our in-depth consultation services.

After intensive investigation by our research staff, on numerous franchise offerings, we have carefully narrowed down our portfolio to those select companies we feel met our calculated standards. We begin by classifying the types of franchise categories that are in existence today by characterizing their internal structure.
